About the Role
As a Medical Assistant at LA CENTA, you will be responsible for rooming patients, verifying patient information, preparing patients for examinations, coordinating patient care, processing documents, organizing treatment rooms, entering patient medications into the EMR, assisting with in-office procedures, and maintaining patient confidentiality. You will also handle phone calls and scheduling, obtain medical records, and ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduated from an accredited medical assistant program.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese.
- General knowledge of HIPAA and CPT codes.
- Excellent communication skills with patients, physicians, and staff.
Preferred:
- Ear Nose Throat & Allergy specialty clinic experience.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a relatively unsupervised environment with a high degree of accuracy.
