Summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking a CI and Strategy CORE Manager to join their team onsite in Troy, OH. The role involves leading continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence strategies within the organization.
About the Role
As a CI and Strategy CORE Manager, you will interface directly with leadership to influence and improve CORE/CI culture across the organization. Your responsibilities include implementing operational excellence strategies, guiding others in achieving operational results, developing best practices, leading kaizen events, managing complex projects, and ensuring metrics are met for project closures.
About You
Required:
- Typically requires a university degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
- Advanced knowledge of CORE, continuous improvement, or other lean tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma or Kaizen.
- Ability to influence and communicate across all levels of the organization.
Preferred:
- Experience with manufacturing software suites such as CIMCO and Solumina.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 standards and practices, including automation.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrated success developing and improving manufacturing processes and systems.
