The Civil Engineer will work on renewable energy projects such as pipeline design, solar site design, battery storage design, EV charging design, project due diligence, site constraints analysis, jurisdictional permitting, and agency coordination. Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules, collaborating with engineers, designers, jurisdictions, and contractors, and building professional relationships.
About You
Required:
- 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Experience in the Energy discipline including design, permitting, and applicable software applications
- Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks
- Familiarity with client coordination, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to build plan sets and other construction documents
- Design experience including utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence, and permitting
