About the Role
As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for contributing to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects. You will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for the built environment. Interns will also develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's practices and standards, while learning software programs specific to their disciplines.
About You
Required:
- Currently pursuing an ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with technical software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS.
