About the Role
As a Civil Engineering Technician Co-op, you will be responsible for testing construction materials such as soils and concrete for quality assurance, reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications, and accurately recording and reporting test results. You will also communicate regularly with your supervisor and complete continuing education for certifications through the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and/or International Code Council (ICC). This position is expected to be full-time during the summer and fall 2026 semesters, with occasional overtime.
About You
Required:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering / Technology, Geology, or a related field.
- Ability to obtain certifications through American Concrete Institute (ACI) and/or International Code Council (ICC).
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with construction materials, procedures, and documents.
