Summary
Merrick & Company is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to join their growing Land Development team in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a target start date in May or June 2026.
About the Role
As an Entry Level Civil Engineer, you will perform independent design tasks, prepare construction drawings, organize reports, calculations, and associated project deliverables. You will work within a team of Design Engineers and technicians on Land Development and municipal projects, prepare and review working drawings, details, layouts, surveys, estimates, and work products, and interface with clients and government agencies. Some travel to client sites in North Carolina and South Carolina is required.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Sciences in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program.
- Zero (0) - Four (4) years of experience in Land Development and/or Public Works.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Fundamentals of Engineering / Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Recent demonstrable experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
