About the Role
As a Civilian Dispatcher, you will work under general supervision to handle routine and emergency communications. Your responsibilities will include receiving calls, compiling data, maintaining records, and performing clerical tasks. You will also be required to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends, with a shift rotation every three months based on seniority.
About You
Required:
One year of experience involving public contact, preferably with radio communications equipment.
Education equivalent to graduation from High School or GED Equivalent.
Typing proficiency at 35 net wpm.
Possession of a valid typing certificate.
Preferred:
Possession of a POST Public Safety Dispatcher Certificate.
