CNA Insurance is seeking a Claims Consultant - Environmental and Mass Tort to join their team. The role involves managing high exposure and complex litigation claims related to environmental and mass tort issues.
About the Role
As a Claims Consultant, you will manage a variety of complex litigation claims, ensuring compliance with company protocols and achieving quality customer service standards. Your responsibilities will include investigating policy language, coordinating claim resolution activities, and maintaining communication with customers and insureds. You will also mentor less experienced claim professionals and keep leadership informed of significant risks and losses.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum six years of relevant experience in claim handling.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Experience with abuse, product liability, pollution, and/or high severity general liability claims.
- Negotiation experience, including mediations.
