Camgian is seeking a Program Technical Manager to join their team remotely in Huntsville, AL. The role involves interfacing with government customers across DoD agencies, defining program requirements, and leading technical teams to develop innovative solutions.
About the Role
As a Program Technical Manager, you will be the primary interface with government customers, understanding program objectives and defining high-level requirements. You will lead technical teams in developing system/software architecture, innovative solutions, and algorithms. Responsibilities include creating technical work plans, guiding engineering teams, mentoring staff, and formulating intellectual property strategies. You will also prepare technical reports, conduct program reviews, and support business development efforts.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant technical degree.
- 10+ years of relevant and progressive professional experience.
- Subject matter expertise and hands-on experience in software development and/or algorithm, machine learning model development for complex systems.
- Demonstrated experience in translating customer needs to high-level requirements and design specifications.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet program objectives.
- Experience in identifying, managing, and mitigating program technical risks.
- Strong presentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.
- United States Citizenship.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with government contracts, processes, and program execution.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and modeling languages like UML or SysML.
- Expertise in distributed systems architecture and patterns.
- Experience in developing algorithms for sensor signal processing and image/video processing.
- Expertise in modern AI and machine learning frameworks.
- Experience in heterogeneous data fusion and knowledge of sensor modalities.
