About the Role
As a Classroom Floater, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Your duties will include covering staff absences, assisting with daily activities, supporting child development, maintaining a safe environment, communicating with staff and families, and adapting to different classrooms.
About You
Required:
- Experience or willingness to learn how to work with children ages 6 weeks through 5 years.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Patience, nurturing personality, and ability to create a positive environment.
- CPR and first aid certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred:
- CDA or related degree.
- AA or certificate in Early Childhood Education.
- Current CDA.
