About the Role
As a Cleared Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing security policies, preventing unauthorized access, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and maintaining security standards. You will also assist in training and compliance with security protocols, and perform inspections related to access control.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of security or law enforcement experience, or two years of honorable military service.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to complete a Virginia Security Guard License and firearms training course.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Secret security clearance.
Preferred:
- Current Virginia DCJS Security Guard license.
- Two years of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
- History of safe and successful security operations in secure facilities.
- Knowledge of the Lenel access control system.
- Handgun weapons proficiency.
