Summary
Pinellas County Government is seeking a Clerk Supervisor to join their team in Clearwater, FL. The role involves supervising staff in the Recording Services Department and assisting with day-to-day operations.
About the Role
As a Clerk Supervisor, you will plan, assign, supervise, and evaluate the work of employees in the section, including lead workers. You will process payroll, analyze employee-related issues, prepare reports, lead and train employees, resolve customer-related issues, and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. This position requires independent decision-making based on departmental operations and Florida Statutes.
About You
Required:
- At least five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory, team lead, or leadership role.
- Experience in a Clerk of the Court or governmental setting is preferred.
Preferred:
- Associate’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Accounting or a related field and at least (3) years of progressively responsible work experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory, team lead, or leadership role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Accounting or a related field and at least (1) year of progressively responsible work experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory, team lead, or leadership role.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
