Killeen Group is seeking a Sr. Director of Engineering – Aerospace & Defense to join their team in Skagit County, WA. The role involves leading a high-impact team of design engineers and technicians to drive technical excellence and support continuous improvement.

About the Role

As the Sr. Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for ensuring effective stakeholder communication, establishing key metrics for continuous improvement, delegating project assignments, and providing leadership to inspire product and process enhancement. You will also manage capacity planning, resource management, and ensure adherence to design processes that support AS9100 requirements.

About You

Required:

Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
10+ years experience as a Program Manager, Senior Project Engineer, Senior Design Engineer or equivalent position.
Strong communication skills through written, verbal, and graphical mediums in the English language.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CATIA, and NX CAD software.
