Bolt Insight is seeking a Client Development Director for the United States to lead and grow strategic client relationships, driving revenue growth and ensuring delivery excellence across enterprise and mid-market accounts.
About the Role
As the Client Development Director, you will serve as the primary point of contact for key US client accounts, develop and grow relationships with existing and prospective clients, and lead client meetings and presentations. You will partner with clients to understand their long-term business objectives, identify opportunities for upselling and account expansion, and translate client briefs into actionable research plans. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, monitor client satisfaction, oversee contract negotiations, and stay updated on market trends.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in client development, business development, or commercial roles within market research, insights, or analytics.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding enterprise and mid-market client accounts.
- Strong experience managing senior client stakeholders (Brand, Marketing, Insights, Strategy leaders).
- Deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, agile research, and insights commercialization.
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling and translating business challenges into research solutions.
- Experience leading and mentoring client development or account teams in a fast-growth, technology-enabled environment.
- Strong collaboration skills across research, product, and operations teams.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, forecasting, and data-driven performance management.
