Summary
Okta is seeking a Client Platform Engineer, Windows and VDI (Federal) to join their team in Chicago, IL. The role involves managing and securing Windows devices and VDI environments while implementing automation and cloud-native engineering solutions.
About the Role
As a Client Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for managing Windows devices across a global fleet, designing and maintaining VDI images, automating device management with Microsoft Intune, and building CI/CD workflows. You will work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure federal standards are met and continuously improve endpoint hygiene and automation processes.
About You
Required:
- Experience managing Windows + VDI environments in regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of identity platforms such as Active Directory and Okta.
- Proven ability to build automation pipelines with Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Go.
Preferred:
- Experience with Jamf Pro or other cross-platform endpoint management tools.
- Proficiency in Go, Swift, or other compiled languages.
- Certifications in Okta, Microsoft Endpoint, AWS, or Terraform.
- Experience working in federal environments.
