ProspectBlue is seeking a Client Service Associate to support their Portfolio Management team in Charlottesville, VA. The role involves assisting in client communications, onboarding, and managing administrative tasks related to client relationships and investment portfolios.
About the Role
As a Client Service Associate, you will coordinate resources to support Portfolio Managers, manage project timelines, create presentation content for client boards, participate in client meetings, and provide logistical support. You will also handle client inquiries, maintain accurate records, and support business development efforts.
About You
Required:
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and visual presentation)
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word with the ability to produce high-quality communications
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams while meeting deadlines
- Client-first mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience (finance, investment, or nonprofit management experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent required
Preferred:
- Knowledge of various asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternatives) and financial markets
