Summary

New York Life Insurance Company is seeking a Client Service Representative to join their team in a hybrid role. The position involves managing and resolving inquiries from internal and external business partners, ensuring excellent customer service.

About the Role

As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling inquiries from Select and Middle Market clients and brokers, responding to emails, assessing inquiry types, and determining resolutions. You will communicate clearly, manage requests within internal systems, and partner with internal teams to meet client needs. The role requires maintaining extensive knowledge of products and services related to client servicing and participating in training and feedback sessions.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years in customer service.
Strong understanding of group products and services, with demonstrated expertise in STD and LTD.
Proven success in a fast-paced customer service environment.
Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail with strong analytical abilities.
Minimum two years’ experience with software and system-based applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

Ability to quickly understand client needs and expectations.
Demonstrated ability to resolve issues independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and high volume requests.
