About the Role
As a Clinical Service Representative I, you will be responsible for triaging and receiving clinical pathology specimens, ensuring accurate documentation, and preparing samples for laboratory analysis. You will also coordinate special testing, monitor courier drop-offs, and communicate with staff regarding critical samples. Your duties will include troubleshooting issues in the accessioning and processing area to maintain smooth operations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Communication skills to interact professionally with physicians and health professionals.
- Ability to work in a potentially stressful environment with infectious and biohazardous materials.
- Ability to quickly learn various aspects of Lab Operations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Typing and data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience working in a lab or other clinical setting.
