About You
- 3 years of coding experience.
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification required by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) within 6 months of employment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Strong interpersonal and coder education expertise skills.
- 5 years of Health Information Management/Medical Records experience in an academic medical center environment.
- Prior experience as a DRG/APG Coordinator.
- Experience with 3M, Optum, Cerner and Epic.
- RHIA or RHIT certification.
