About the Role
As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for developing exercise prescriptions, performing stress testing, maintaining a safe environment, supervising exercise staff, monitoring patients during exercise, participating in staff meetings, planning group exercise for rehabilitation and prevention, and providing patient education.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field.
- Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) certification by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) within six months from date of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month from date of hire.
- One year of experience working in a clinical exercise setting.
Preferred:
- Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) certification by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
