Medpace is seeking a Clinical Informatics Intern for Fall 2026 to join their expanding Clinical Informatics team in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves supporting the development of operational solutions in data analytics, visualization, and accessibility for clinical trials.
About the Role
As a Clinical Informatics Intern, you will work directly with analysts to develop data products that enhance operational efficiency for Clinical and Medical Operations teams. Your responsibilities will include evaluating data needs, contributing to innovative data products, interacting with relational data, and supporting algorithm development for operational purposes. You will also assist in the development of web applications to help teams process and visualize data.
About You
Required:
- Enrollment in Bachelor’s program for informatics, computer science/engineering, biomedical engineering, health information, statistics, or related field.
- Programming experience in R or Python.
- Analytical thinker with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively on a sprint schedule.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Clinical research experience.
- Experience building web applications (with either Shiny or Streamlit).
- Experience building dashboards (with either PowerBI, Tableau, or Spotfire).
