About the Role
As a Clinical Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for clerical and computer functions, specimen accessioning and processing, performing a variety of phlebotomy techniques, assisting with other specimen collections, and performing specified waived testing as required. You will represent the organization in both inpatient and outpatient settings, serving as a liaison between patients, physicians, nursing staff, and laboratory departments.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in a healthcare setting as a Laboratory Assistant, Phlebotomist, or Clerk
Preferred:
- Associates Degree
- ASPT or ASCP Certification
- 1 year experience in a healthcare environment
