Summary
Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician - Flow Cytometry to join their team in Brentwood, TN. The role involves performing routine and complex technical procedures in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
About the Role
As a Clinical Laboratory Technician, you will determine the acceptability of specimens, perform technical procedures, monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation, prepare and evaluate reagents, report test results, and maintain a safe work environment. You will also assist with specimen processing and ensure compliance with quality control procedures.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a relevant field.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Previous clinical laboratory testing experience.
- ASCP or AMT certification.
- Proficient with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems.
