Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician- PRN to join their team at Ascension St Thomas River Park in McMinnville, TN. The role involves performing routine and complex technical procedures in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.
About the Role
As a Clinical Laboratory Technician- PRN, you will determine the acceptability of specimens for testing, perform technical procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures, monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, and report accurate test results to ensure quality patient care. You will also assist with specimen processing and maintain a safe work environment.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a non-traditional Associate’s degree that meets local regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Preferred:
- Previous clinical laboratory testing experience.
- Core lab/generalist experience.
- Blood bank experience.
- ASCP or AMT certification.
- Proficient with computers and familiarity with laboratory information systems.
