Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Toxicology to join their team in RTP, NC. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment to improve health and lives through laboratory testing.
About the Role
As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Toxicology, you will determine the acceptability of specimens, perform routine and complex technical procedures, monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation, prepare and evaluate new reagents, report test results, and maintain a safe work environment. You will also assist with specimen processing and ensure quality control procedures are followed.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a non-traditional Bachelor’s degree that meets local regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- ASCP or AMT certification.
- Proficient with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
- Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs.
