Summary

About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and delivering clinical education programs, creating training modules, and supporting Utilization Management projects. Your work will include conducting education on medical necessity case scenarios, developing learning competencies, and acting as a liaison to medical directors and clinicians. You will also evaluate learning effectiveness using established models.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Current and unrestricted California RN license.
- Minimum 7 years of prior relevant clinical experience.
Preferred:
- Experience working in an acute care clinical setting.
- Experience working for a Health Payer in Utilization Management.
- Knowledge of MCG guidelines, medical policies, and Utilization Management clinical criteria.
- Knowledge of regulatory agencies DMHC, NCQA, CMA, and DHCS.
- Experience educating and training clinicians.
- Experience developing clinical training programs.
