About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse III, you will be responsible for implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care as required. You will assess and evaluate patient needs, provide primary and emergency care, and collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care. Additionally, you will guide ancillary personnel and maintain professional nursing standards.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) &/ PALS certified.
- 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in care of boarders.
- ECT trained or willing to train to care for ECT patients.
- Charge experience or willing to train for charge.
- PACU preceptor experience.
- PACU Committee Member experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in PACU.
