TriHealth is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist - Critical Care to support their Critical Care Service Line at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. This full-time, day-shift position offers a unique opportunity to deliver direct, patient-centered care to critically ill patients.
About the Role
As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy to critically ill patients. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, manage medication-use systems, and ensure optimal medication therapy management. Your role will include direct patient care, education and training for pharmacy students and residents, and participation in departmental operations and quality improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy; PharmD or Bachelor's of Science degree with equivalent decentralized hospital pharmacy experience (3 years) OR accredited PGY-1, PGY-2 residency.
- Pharmacist, Ohio Board of Pharmacy Licensure.
- 1-2 years' experience in Clinical Pharmacy practice.
- Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency or Board Certification in related area of practice.
Preferred:
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to effectively educate, instruct, and train pharmacists to a higher level of practice.
