About the Role
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting initial screenings and mental health assessments, providing diagnosis-based treatment, and offering individual and group psychotherapy. You will also administer psychological evaluations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with Medicaid and managed care guidelines.
About You
Required:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of post-residency training and NY licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques and psychotherapy modalities.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and data collection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based models of care for children and families.
- Understanding of OMH Part 599 regulations and standards of care.
