EMS of Virginia is seeking a Clinical Specialist – Community Based Services (LPC, LCSW) to join their team in Chesterfield, VA. The role involves overseeing a team of QMHP Clinicians and providing mental health and substance abuse services to clients.
About the Role
As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising clinical staff, managing client care, ensuring compliance with service delivery, conducting assessments, and facilitating team meetings. You will also be involved in staff training, performance evaluations, and policy development to enhance service effectiveness.
About You
Required:
- Licensed or licensed-eligible as an LPC or LCSW in Virginia.
- Experience providing mental health and substance abuse services.
- Experience with staff supervision and program compliance.
Preferred:
- Ability to set strategic objectives for a social service organization.
- Knowledge of counseling techniques for youth, families, and adults.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
