Midwest Vision Partners is seeking a Clinical Technician to join their team in Shelby, MI. The role involves participating in the care of patients in a clinic setting, performing diagnostic tests, and maintaining patient records.
About the Role
As a Clinical Technician, you will greet patients, explain appointment expectations, escort them to exam rooms, and perform diagnostic ophthalmic tests such as visual acuity and tonometry. You will document patient information in the electronic medical records system, assist with minor surgical procedures, and educate patients on medication administration and post-operative instructions. Additionally, you will maintain patient confidentiality and utilize problem-solving skills to address patient concerns.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive a motor vehicle.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
Preferred:
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Entry Level with 0-3 years of experience.
