River Valley Counseling Center, Inc. is seeking a Clinician for various locations including Chicopee, Springfield, Westfield, Holyoke, and Easthampton, MA. The role involves providing trauma-informed mental health assessment and treatment to individuals, families, and couples.
About the Role
As a Clinician, you will conduct clinical assessments, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans. You will provide ongoing therapy, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards are key responsibilities. You will also promote culturally responsive, strengths-based care and support clients through crisis intervention and community referrals.
About You
Required:
- Master’s degree in human services, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or Social Work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Crisis intervention skills and strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and good customer relation skills.
- Knowledge of legal and ethical issues pertaining to the profession.
Preferred:
- 3 years of experience preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Licensing as LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or LICSW in the state of MA.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
