About the Role
As a VP Platform Engineer, you will serve as a hands-on technical leader, responsible for building and advancing core platform capabilities. You will collaborate with application teams and security stakeholders to ensure reliable and secure delivery at scale. Key responsibilities include managing Terraform-based infrastructure, enhancing self-service capabilities, and improving platform availability and observability.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
- Strong software development skills in Python or C#, with an emphasis on object-oriented design.
- Deep hands-on experience with Terraform and public cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and platform reliability principles.
Preferred:
- Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) such as Cortex, Backstage, or OpsLevel.
- Familiarity with containerized and serverless environments, including Kubernetes.
- Experience automating end-to-end developer workflows.
- Strong documentation practices, including clear runbooks and operational guides.
