Wind River is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join their team in various locations across the US including Alameda, San Diego, Detroit, and Boston. The role focuses on delivering technical solutions that integrate Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) with an emphasis on cloud and enterprise integrations.
About the Role
As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will support the technical delivery of solutions to end-customers, enabling Wind River to implement integrated solutions using cloud platforms in real-world industrial and enterprise environments. You will work on integration projects involving enterprise platforms like ServiceNow and Wind River's Cloud Platform, addressing challenges of deploying distributed clouds and managing secure platforms for modern applications.
About You
Required:
- 7-10 years of experience in solutions architecture, systems engineering, or OT/IT.
- Solid understanding of OT systems and their integration with enterprise IT and Cloud platforms.
- Experience with system-level solution design, including workload orchestration and networking.
- Familiarity with virtualization, containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong English language skills for business discussions.
Preferred:
- Experience with enterprise platforms like ServiceNow in integration or automation contexts.
- Exposure to OT environments such as SCADA systems, PLCs, or industrial protocols.
- Linux background covering deployment, image build, application, and kernel development.
- Familiarity with programming languages (C++, C) and scripting languages (Python, Perl).
