About the Role

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting patients in understanding clinical services, performing medical assistance tasks, and ensuring effective communication with patients and families. You may be assigned to specific medical specialty departments, such as orthopedics, and will be expected to demonstrate compassion and professionalism in all interactions.

About You

Required:

High school diploma or GED, medical assistant diploma from an accredited institution, or completion of a community college course in medical assisting.
Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant or documented externship experience.
Certified Medical Assistant within 26 months of hire.
Current CPR certification.

Preferred:

Experience with Electrocardiogram (EKG), vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection procedures.
Knowledge of health care field and medical office protocols/procedures.
