Summary

OPmobility is seeking a CMM Programmer to join their team in Ontario, CA. The role involves developing, implementing, and managing Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs for accurate dimensional inspection of components and assemblies.

About the Role

As a CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining measurement laboratory equipment, developing and validating CMM programs, executing dimensional inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. You will also conduct internal audits, support supplier evaluations, and engage in continuous improvement activities while collaborating closely with production and quality teams.

About You

Required:

High school diploma or GED required; associate or technical degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in CMM programming and metrology within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar).
Knowledge of quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred:

Experience with Datamyte systems.
Familiarity with PPAP, PSO, and audit requirements.
Previous experience in an automotive or regulated manufacturing environment.
