About the Role
As a CNA in the outpatient hospice unit, you will perform specific patient care procedures under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed clinician. Your responsibilities will include basic wound care, catheter maintenance, and assisting patients with daily living activities in their home setting. You will also monitor and record vital signs, manage patient scheduling, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED
- Certified Nurse Aide-NM
- BLS Certification at the time of hire
- Good driving record, access to a vehicle, driver's license, and auto insurance
Preferred:
- 1 year of direct patient care in any clinical setting or in-home health/hospice
