Summary

ChildServe is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Seasonal (PRN) to join their compassionate team in Johnston, IA. The role involves providing around-the-clock care in a pediatric complex medical program for children with complex medical needs.

About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will assist with daily care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while honoring each child's privacy and dignity. You will follow individualized care plans, collaborate with nurses and therapists, and help maintain cleanliness and comfort for the children. Additionally, you will support families by sharing updates and documenting care provided in compliance with professional standards.

About You

Required:

Active DIA certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Iowa.
Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and be mobile within the assigned work area.

Preferred:

Experience working with children in a healthcare setting.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with families and team members.
