About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be an integral part of the treatment team, responsible for taking and recording vital signs, observing and documenting changes in patients' conditions, and communicating these changes to the charge nurse. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and engage with patients across various age groups, from adolescents to geriatrics.
About You
Required:
- High School Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure required.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in psychiatric patient care techniques preferred.
Preferred:
- Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy, or a relevant therapeutic discipline.
- Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification in the State of Texas preferred.
