About the Role
As a Precision Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, editing, and optimizing CNC programs for Mill or Lathe operations. You will set up machines, interpret blueprints, and ensure part accuracy while maintaining production efficiency and quality standards. Your daily tasks will include operating CNC equipment, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting machining issues.
About You
Required:
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience (Mill or Lathe specialization).
- Proficiency in G-code programming and editing at the machine.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with precision measuring tools and quality inspection processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.
- Experience machining a variety of materials (steel, aluminum, stainless, plastics).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
- Good work ethic, dependable, great communication skills, positive team player.
- Self-motivated, person of high integrity, shows initiative.
Benefits
- Competitive pay rate of $18.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience.
