About the Role
As a CNC Swiss machine programmer/operator, you will be responsible for operating multiple machines, producing parts within required tolerances, inspecting precision products, making offset adjustments, and maintaining equipment. You will also communicate with team members regarding job status and quality.
About You
Required:
- Previous experience operating Swiss-style CNC machines or completion of company apprenticeship program.
- Ability to call up programs, offset tools and overall knowledge of basic CNC machine operation.
- Strong mathematical abilities, verbal/written communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T.
- Ability to read precision gauges and visual accuracy.
Preferred:
- Ability to produce precision work.
- Knowledge of various materials and differences between each.
