About the Role
As a CNC Tool Grinder, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC grinding machines, performing frequent changeovers for custom orders, and maximizing production efficiencies. Your daily tasks will include verifying work assignments, following established procedures for machine setup, inspecting finished tools, and entering production information into the data collection system. You will also monitor equipment performance and perform SPC procedures on all jobs.
About You
Required:
- Associates degree with emphasis in machine tool operation or three to five years related experience and/or training.
- One year of direct machine setup and operation experience.
Preferred:
- Previous experience with basic machine operation or related technical training.
- Strongly preferred candidates with previous experience operating CNC grinding equipment such as Walter, ANCA, Star, Schutte, Rollomatic.
