About the Role
As a Co-op: Robotic Test System Developer, you will assess and improve existing test functions and develop new test functions for robotic test systems involving motors, force sensors, and electro adhesives. You will contribute to the design and implementation of automated test systems, ensuring they meet performance requirements. Your work will support the Lightweight Electroadhesive ExoTendon system for fighter pilot neck protection and involve skills such as electromechanical design, prototyping, and programming.
About You
Required:
- Experience programming in Python and Embedded C.
- Ability to control motors and process sensor data.
Preferred:
- Experience with electromechanical design and iterative prototyping.
- Familiarity with CAD, physical testing, sensor calibration, and PID control.
