Summary
Citi is seeking a Cobol Mainframe Developer, AVP to join their team in Irving, TX. The role focuses on the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs within the Technology team.
About the Role
As a Cobol Mainframe Developer, AVP, you will conduct feasibility studies, lead the development and implementation of applications, oversee the development lifecycle, provide user support, analyze complex problems, recommend security measures, collaborate with users and clients, mentor junior analysts, and act as a Subject Matter Expert for senior stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Proven experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage deadlines.
- Technical skills in COBOL, MVS, JCL, FileAid, Expeditor, VSAM, NDM, AbendAid, and Changeman.
Preferred:
- Experience with Java (Core, Spring MVC).
- Familiarity with Front-End Technologies (HTML, CSS, JS).
- Knowledge of DB2.
- Experience with CI/CD Tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Udeploy).
