Summary
CorroHealth is seeking a Coding Claim Review Specialist IP or OP to assist the Director of HIM in preparing claim audits and reviewing coding for hospital outpatient and Profee claims.
About the Role
As a Coding Claim Review Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing claim audits, recommending coding and revenue cycle changes, and providing support to the revenue cycle consulting team. You will utilize proprietary software to develop reports, meet with clients, and respond to coding inquiries. Your role will also involve client education and preparing written FAQs.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of directly related experience.
- AHIMA CCS, COC or AAPC CPC Certification required.
- Expert knowledge in revenue cycle and outpatient coding.
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle, CMS Manual/guidelines, and Medicaid guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Clinical Documentation and Inpatient coding experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and OneNote skills.
- Strong analytical capability and decision-making skills.
