Summary
Laredo Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Cognitive Performance Specialist (CPS) Level 1 to join their team at various Air Force Bases across the United States. The role involves delivering cognitive performance training and assessments to optimize aircrew performance.
About the Role
As a Cognitive Performance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing cognitive performance training, serving as a subject matter expert in sport and performance psychology, and supporting the Human Performance program. Your duties will include developing curriculum-aligned instruction, conducting cognitive assessments, employing simulation technologies, and mentoring other CPSs. You will also maintain a visible presence in flying squadrons and document client encounters in the CRAFT system.
About You
Required:
- Secret clearance required.
- 2+ years providing cognitive performance services.
- Master’s degree in psychology, Counseling, Human Performance, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or Sport Sciences with a specialization in Sport Psychology or similar.
Preferred:
- Experience in collegiate (or higher), professional, or tactical athletics; aerospace industry, test pilot/astronaut or similar man-machine high performance environment.
- Current certification in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training.
