About the Role
As a Collections Specialist, you will manage assigned accounts receivable inventory, investigate and resolve claims denials, submit corrected claims, and document collection activities. You will also monitor payor trends, create reports on key metrics, and maintain effective communication with insurance carriers to ensure timely collections critical to operations.
About You
Required:
- Associate's degree (preferred)
- 3 years of experience in behavioral health out-of-network billing
- Knowledge and experience with CollaborateMD EMR and billing software programs
- Claims denial experience with follow up from payers including appeals
Preferred:
- Experience with ABA therapy
- Experience/knowledge with CPT and ICD10 codes
