About the Role
As a Collections Specialist, you will work closely with the curatorial team to ensure the long-term management and care of deCordova's permanent collection. Your responsibilities will include maintaining record integrity, updating existing records, and transferring remaining database records from the previous system to Qi. This position is essential for the successful integration of collections records across all Trustees collections and archives.
About You
Required:
- B.A. degree required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a museum, archive, library, or related setting.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of collection management software.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Museum Studies or Library Sciences.
- Relational database fluency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and digital imaging applications like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
