Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Collision Auto Body Technician to join their team in New Orleans, LA. The role involves providing exceptional customer service through the quality repair of vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition.
About the Role
As a Collision Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, planning repair work, and executing repairs using various tools. Your daily tasks will include disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles, ensuring quality and speed in alignment with company standards. You will also work collaboratively with team members to achieve repair facility KPIs and uphold the company's commitment to customer excellence.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
Preferred:
Experience working in an auto body shop.
Familiarity with tools required for the trade.
