The Lawt is seeking a Commercial Attorney to join their team in Denver or Boulder, CO (Hybrid). The role involves serving as outside general counsel to emerging companies in the life sciences and technology sectors.
About the Role
As a Commercial Attorney, you will review, draft, and negotiate operational, commercial, and technology contracts for tech and life sciences companies. Your responsibilities will include handling software licensing and SaaS agreements, manufacturing and supply agreements, research & development agreements, intellectual property licensing, and sales and distribution agreements. You will participate directly in contract negotiations and collaborate with clients and subject matter experts to align agreements with business objectives and regulatory/compliance considerations.
About You
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience handling commercial and technology contracts at a top national or international firm, an elite (Chambers-ranked) boutique, or a sophisticated in-house department.
- Strong understanding of operational, commercial, and technology contracts.
Preferred:
- Experience in a general counsel-style role.
- Familiarity with life sciences and technology sectors.
